What you will do

• Develop high-voltage battery diagnostic calibrations for cells, packs, current, and temperature.
• Translate EV control designs into production-ready calibrations via simulation and vehicle testing.
• Validate diagnostic performance across SIL, HIL/ChIL, and battery lab environments.
• Collaborate with software and validation teams to align diagnostics with safety goals.
• Analyze field data and diagnostic metrics to refine calibrations and reduce issues.
• Manage calibration content using internal tools and change management workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, or Computer Engineering.
• 0–2 years of experience in automotive controls, diagnostics, or calibration.
• Foundational knowledge of embedded systems and automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, Python, INCA, or Vehicle Spy.
• Must have valid US work authorization; no immigration sponsorship provided.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience in high-voltage battery diagnostics (HVBD).
• Experience with virtual calibration methods (SIL, HIL/ChIL, CoSim, BSL).
• Experience with Jira or GM-specific calibration tools.
