What you will do

• Develop and extend high-speed timing calibration and characterization software libraries.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to create calibration routines and analyze data for product design validation.
• Identify and resolve hardware and software issues on customer and manufacturing floors.
• Manage the transition of new product releases from the Engineering group to Manufacturing.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Jose, CA, US.
• Electrical Engineering degree: MS with 0-1 years experience, or BS with 3+ years experience.
• Thorough knowledge of C, C++, and object-oriented design.
• Ability to read hardware schematics and translate register data into software models.
• Experience with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and communication buses (GPIB, I2C, SPI, PCIe).
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, and Logic Analyzers.

Nice to have

• Data analytics skills including 6-sigma, Cp, and Cpk.
• Knowledge of Signal Integrity concepts and Eye diagrams.
• Understanding of frequency domain and Fourier transforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and MATLAB.
