What you will do

• Serve as the creative lead and tastemaker for Shark Beauty on social media.
• Develop social-first ideas across organic, paid, and influencer content that balance entertainment and storytelling.
• Write, edit, and shape content for short-form video, stills, and emerging formats.
• Direct shoots virtually and in-person with internal creators and studios.
• Collaborate with Brand, Social Strategy, and Media partners to align strategy with execution.
• Identify trends and evolve creative playbooks to keep the brand culturally fluent.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of experience in social-first creative, content, or creator-led environments.
• Ability to work as a hybrid: combining conceptual thinking with hands-on execution.
• Deep fluency in internet culture, social platforms, and emerging content formats.
• Experience directing others while remaining capable of creating content independently.
• Must submit a portfolio with the application.
• Must be based in or be able to work on-site in New York City.
