What you will do

• Lead business development to secure exploration rights, development-stage assets, and mining assets.
• Represent and promote KoBold's technology to counterparties and build strategic industry relationships.
• Coordinate technical underwriting using first-principles, bottoms-up valuation methods.
• Develop commercial offerings and lead negotiations for term sheets and counter-proposals.
• Manage risk-based due diligence and oversee the preparation of internal investment memoranda.
• Review definitive agreements and manage the negotiation of commercial contract matters.

Requirements

• BA/BS in physical sciences, engineering, mathematics, or economics (Geology or Mine Engineering preferred).
• 10+ years of business development experience, preferably in natural resources or infrastructure project development.
• Strong proficiency in economic modeling.
• Strong intuition for physical sciences and an inclination to work from first principles.
