What you will do

• Break news and write revelatory stories through authoritative reporting and strategic source building.
• Produce rich, ambitious feature stories that provide deep access and go beyond superficial narratives.
• Write rapid news updates and provide expert analysis across various platforms, including live journalism.
• Shoot and produce video content on location as part of event coverage and key stories.
• Appear on company shows and series to provide insight and analysis on the beat.
• Analyze internal metrics to better understand and satisfy subscriber needs.

Requirements

• At least three years of relevant experience at a media company.
• Prior experience covering a college or professional team beat, preferably within the NFL.
• Thorough knowledge of the NFL and the professional journalistic process.
• Must be based in Seattle.
• Strong interest and proficiency in video and other digital journalistic platforms.
