Forward Deployed Engineer (AI/ERP)

Location: Remote from Switzerland, Spain, Denmark, Ireland, the UK, Norway, Poland, or Sweden; listed locations include Zurich, Barcelona, London, and the UK.

What you will do

• Work directly with end-users, process owners, and client engineers to understand workflows and underlying business problems.
• Design and ship technical solutions covering architecture, data models, integrations, agent logic, workflow design, and frontend components.
• Build full-stack systems with a TypeScript backend, APIs, LLM orchestration, and evaluation tooling.
• Demo working software, incorporate user feedback, and make real-time speed, quality, and cost trade-offs.
• Own deployment, observability, and evaluations in production while collaborating with customer engineering and security teams.
• Develop reusable components, prompt structures, and integration patterns for future engagements.

Requirements

• Experience taking systems from zero to production and keeping them operational.
• Practical experience with LLM APIs, tool and function calling, agent frameworks, evaluations, and prompt engineering.
• Strong TypeScript backend skills, including APIs, authentication, queues, and legacy-system integrations.
• Daily use of Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI coding tools.
• Customer-facing communication skills and the ability to work effectively in ambiguous, unfamiliar domains.
• Required: experience automating business processes in ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or NetSuite, or a background in consulting, solutions engineering, or end-to-end product building.
