What you will do

• Lead incremental refactoring of existing automation systems, designing new standards for predictability and testability.
• Deep dive into technical and business logic of insurance providers to handle complex, varying interfaces.
• Build robust, fault-tolerant framework to manage external changes and scale to new categories.
• Shift to AI-first approach for next-generation internal tools supporting growth from 5M to 50M users.
• Spend 80% time on hands-on technical work like transitioning legacy systems to decoupled architecture.
• Report directly to CTO and own high-stakes orchestration of asynchronous transactions.

Requirements

• Player coach experience as founder or lead architect at early-stage startup, hands-on builder.
• Obsessed with success rates, expert detective for edge cases in complex business logic.
• Systems thinker with high bar for offline asynchronous jobs, decoupling, state management, retry logic.
• Experience with TypeScript (Nest.js), GraphQL, AWS (ECS/EKS, Lambda).
