What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a distributed team of application and integration developers across multiple time zones.
• Manage a live backlog of 50+ projects, translating executive requirements into shippable scopes and delivery plans.
• Review and approve architecture and major technical decisions across all active projects.
• Set and maintain engineering standards for code review, branching, testing, and release cadence.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for operating-company leaders in various industries.
• Drive recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding for new engineering talent.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• 4+ years of experience leading distributed teams of five or more developers.
• Strong technical depth in React, TypeScript, Tailwind, Node.js, and PostgreSQL/Supabase.
• Working knowledge of at least one major enterprise platform (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, SAP, Dynamics).
• English: B2 level minimum (written and verbal proficiency).
• Availability for at least 4 hours of daily overlap with U.S. Central Time.

Nice to have

• Experience with automation platforms such as n8n, Workato, Zapier, or Make.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, staffing, financial services, or holding company environments.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot.
