Operations Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Operations Engineer (Linux/SQL): Ingesting data onto Hadoop using ARC Ingestion Framework with an accent on configuration testing and source maintenance. Focus on preparing ingestion configurations, troubleshooting production sources, and ensuring data flow stability.

Location: Hybrid in Poland (Gdynia, Gdańsk, Warszawa, or Łódź) - 2/3 days per week from the office

Salary: 600 - 900 PLN/day on B2B

What you will do

• Ingest data onto Hadoop using the ARC Ingestion Framework.
• Prepare and test configurations for new data ingestion sources.
• Maintain and support existing sources already deployed on production.
• Troubleshoot and solve technical issues within the data pipeline.
• Collaborate within an agile, international team environment.

Requirements

• Solid knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Good understanding of SQL and practical experience working with databases.
• Hands-on experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Strong analytical and rational thinking skills.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Gdynia, Gdańsk, Warszawa, or Łódź for hybrid work.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with Hadoop or other big data technologies.
• Experience working with Robot Framework.
• Basic knowledge of Python.
• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and Helix.
