What you will do

  • Define commercial and sourcing strategies aligned with long-term business needs and objectives.
  • Lead technical and commercial negotiations using "Should Cost" models to ensure cost transparency.
  • Identify and select suppliers based on new product requirements and technological capabilities.
  • Implement "Design for Cost" principles as a key decision-making criterion in engineering phases.
  • Drive cost excellence by validating targets and maintaining alignment with product architecture.
  • Collaborate with Project Supplier Managers to ensure alignment with target costs and value objectives.

Requirements

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical field.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in cost analysis.
  • Deep knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes, production technologies, and material machinability.
  • Strong skills in mechanical design and mental analytical thinking.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Proven ability to lead technical and cost-focused negotiations.
