What you will do

• Derive and maintain detailed operations-related requirements for space and ground segment systems.
• Develop operational concepts (CONOPS), Flight Operations Procedures (FOPs), and Mission Operations Plans (MOP).
• Design and maintain Flight Operations Manuals and training materials for the Mission Control Centre.
• Develop Python scripts to automate the execution of flight operations procedures.
• Plan and conduct training and validation campaigns, including simulation campaigns with external stakeholders.
• Provide technical support to the Mission Control Centre and interface with customers, suppliers, and regulators.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Space Engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Solid knowledge of Space and Ground Segment architectural solutions and Mission Control Software.
• Eligible to live and work in the EU.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Nice to have

• Experience in real-time flight operations (operating space or ground systems).
• Knowledge of space industry standards such as ECSS-E-ST-70 series or CCSDS.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering processes and Orbital/Attitude Dynamics.
• Professional proficiency in Italian.
