Salary: From 68,000 € to 96,000 € + stock options

What you will do

• Develop critical backend services and shared platform components for ingestion and request routing.
• Profile bottlenecks and improve performance in critical system paths.
• Reduce operational toil by automating manual processes into repeatable, well-owned systems.
• Enhance the observability stack, including telemetry, dashboards, and alerting.
• Manage Kubernetes lifecycle tasks and improve deployment safety.
• Optimize CI/CD foundations and development environments to accelerate engineering velocity.

Requirements

• Strong experience building distributed systems or high-volume production systems.
• High proficiency in Python.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
• Experience debugging production incidents and improving system reliability.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations.
• Must be based in Spain.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or ChatGPT to improve workflow.
• Curiosity about real-time analytical systems and proficiency with SQL.
