What you will do

• Bring up new platforms and optimize AOSP-based OS across SoC, GPU, NPU, and peripherals for best-in-class performance.
• Design and implement system APIs, HAL, and framework layers in partnership with app and CV/ML teams.
• Tune state-of-the-art image processing, CV, and ML pipelines to run efficiently on-device.
• Own end-to-end system security, including hardening the boot chain and managing keys.
• Profile and debug deep-stack issues using tools like perfetto, systrace, and Arm Mobile Studio.
• Partner with SoC vendors and ODM/JDM partners on BSP drops and silicon-level issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building embedded system software.
• Hands-on experience with multiple AOSP versions, including BSP and SoC bringup.
• Deep knowledge of Android and Linux internals: kernel, device drivers, HAL, and SELinux.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
• Track record of shipping massively deployed embedded products.
• English: Good communication skills required.

Nice to have

• Experience with TV, set-top-box, video conferencing, or gaming platforms.
• Domain knowledge of cameras, ISPs, and NPUs for edge ML deployment.
• Experience with Arm Cortex CPUs and Mali GPUs.
• Hands-on experience with SoC vendor platforms (Amlogic, Rockchip, MediaTek, or Qualcomm).
• Open-source contributions to the Linux kernel or AOSP.
