What you will do

• Customize, enhance, and optimize AOSP for enterprise video collaboration and conferencing devices.
• Design and maintain Android framework components, system services, platform APIs, middleware, and SDK components.
• Develop and debug low-level Camera, Display, Audio, Media Framework, Connectivity, and HAL integrations.
• Resolve complex issues across Android applications, framework layers, native services, kernel interfaces, and hardware interactions.
• Prototype new platform capabilities using current Android releases, APIs, and SDKs.
• Maintain and optimize custom Chromium WebView builds for web-based collaboration applications.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C/C++, Java, and Kotlin.
• Hands-on experience with AOSP customization, Android framework development, IPC, AIDL, Binder, JNI, and system services.
• Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, memory management, performance optimization, operating systems, networking, data structures, and system design.
• Experience with Android build systems, Git, Android Studio, Gradle, CI/CD, and testing across unit, integration, UI, and automation levels.
• Experience with Camera2, MediaCodec, audio/video pipelines, streaming, and real-time communications.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher required for daily communication with international teams.

• Experience with WebRTC, browser engines, and real-time communication platforms.
