Senior Field Application Engineer - MPU (Edge AI)

What you will do

• Work with worldwide design, applications, and marketing teams to promote NXP MPU products.
• Identify customer requirements and new opportunities for MPU products through technical engagement.
• Support customers with design, debugging, and troubleshooting from design-in through mass production.
• Track customer technical and quality issues and provide timely responses.
• Manage customer project, schedule, and demand information with the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of embedded hardware or software experience with networking equipment.
• Experience developing Linux drivers or real-time OS drivers and BSPs.
• Familiarity with ARMv7 and ARMv8 architectures and digital networking communication theory.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a self-motivated approach to learning and challenges.
• Fluent spoken and written English required.

Nice to have

• GenAI and Edge AI experience, including multi-agent use, model compilation, tuning, or quantization on Edge AI.
