About the Role

You will own end-to-end global payroll across multiple jurisdictions and entity types, manage payroll accounting and the monthly close, handle payroll tax compliance and IRS/state correspondence, administer equity and token compensation, build AI-assisted payroll workflows to reduce manual effort, consolidate payroll operations, manage global benefits programs, and collaborate with People, Legal, Tax, and Treasury.

Requirements

• Experience managing multi-country payroll operations across PEOs, EORs, and local entities
• Payroll accounting expertise including month-end close, general ledger reconciliation, journal entries, accruals, and GAAP compliance
• Hands-on experience with US federal and state payroll tax compliance, IRS and state agency correspondence, multi-state registrations, and nexus analysis
• Proven track record of payroll consolidation, process centralisation, or system implementation
• ERP experience with NetSuite strongly preferred and familiarity with equity compensation platforms
• Proven use of AI tools and workflow automation to redesign payroll or finance operations

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end global payroll processing across multiple jurisdictions and entity types
• Lead consolidation of payroll operations to reduce vendor complexity and costs
• Manage equity and token compensation programs including RSU and RTU administration and vesting
• Own payroll accounting and the monthly close including journal entries, accruals, and general ledger reconciliation
• Serve as primary point of contact for US federal and state payroll tax authorities and manage multi-state registrations
• Build and deploy AI-assisted workflows to reduce manual processing and improve variance detection
• Own global employee benefits programs and manage vendor relationships and compliance
• Partner with People, Legal, Tax, and Treasury on payroll policy, workforce cost forecasting, and compliance risk
