What you will do
- Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of BESS sites, ensuring optimal uptime and reliability in line with service contracts.
- Lead, mentor, and allocate resources for a team of service technicians to foster a high-performance, safety-first culture.
- Drive asset performance and standardization through regular review meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct root cause analysis of technical issues and coordinate resolutions with engineering and product teams.
- Manage subcontractors to ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and to contractual quality standards.
- Collaborate with finance and commercial teams to support asset-level P&L forecasting and budget tracking.
Requirements
- Proven experience in asset management within the energy, infrastructure, or power generation sectors.
- Experience in field service delivery and operational environments.
- Engineering qualification (electrical, mechanical, or electronic) and/or electrical trade background.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and renewable energy systems.
- Financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
