What you will do

• Develop and maintain safety engineering artefacts, including safety plans, hazard logs, and safety cases.
• Perform product and environmental safety assessment activities for Hunter Combat Systems.
• Contribute to safety arguments for communications, navigation, and warfare systems (above and underwater).
• Manage and sell-off safety requirements utilizing DOORS.
• Generate and maintain Tier 1 System Design Safety Assessments.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience within the defence sector.
• 5+ years of experience as a systems engineer, preferably in complex defence projects.
• Proficiency in systems engineering lifecycle, methods, tools, and techniques.
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary engineering environments.
• Mandatory Australian citizenship.
• Ability to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to at least NV1.
