Technical Services Engineer

TL;DR

Technical Services Engineer (CAD/PDM): Deliver engaging product demonstrations and support sales efforts for cloud-native CAD and PDM software with an accent on mechanical design applications and customer troubleshooting. Focus on mastering the product, creating demo content, and relaying feature requests to development.

Location: Hybrid in Melbourne, Australia (2-3 days per week in-office minimum at hirify.global HQ). Must have valid working rights in Australia.

What you will do

• Master the Onshape product and become an expert user.
• Collaborate with sales team to deliver exceptional product demonstrations to prospects.
• Act as product expert, answering customer questions and troubleshooting requirements.
• Develop technical marketing content and expand demonstration library.
• Liaise with development team to relay customer feature requests.
• Continuously enhance your engineering software skills.

Requirements

• Experience with mechanical CAD software (Onshape, SOLIDWORKS, Autodesk Inventor, Creo, Siemens NX, etc.)
• Experience delivering product demonstrations.
• Experience troubleshooting complex customer requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering, or technical equivalent.
• Must have valid working rights in Australia

Nice to have

• Experience with PDM or PLM products (SOLIDWORKS PDM, Windchill, Autodesk Vault, Siemens Teamcenter).
• Experience with CAM, FEA/CFD, ECAD software.
