What you will do

• Develop the integration strategy and activity plans for combat system subsystems.
• Design subsystem integration and trials requirements, including specifications for test facilities.
• Collaborate with subsystem leads to review and validate integration documentation and schedules.
• Monitor combat system integration activities and collate evidence to support system acceptance.
• Identify technical and safety risks during integration and propose mitigation actions.
• Facilitate interactions between internal stakeholders and subcontractors to achieve program goals.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent defence sector experience.
• Minimum of four years of experience as a systems engineer, preferably within complex defence projects.
• Strong knowledge of systems engineering lifecycles, methods, and tools.
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary engineering environments with documented development processes.
• Australian citizenship is mandatory.
• Ability to obtain an NV1 Australian Defence Security Clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience working with combat system requirements within a maritime context.
