Business Partnering & Commercial Finance Manager (Finance): Managing cost control and commercial optimization of frontline commission schemes with an accent on Channel Cost per Transaction (CPT) modelling and financial reporting. Focus on optimizing distribution costs, conducting variance analysis, and providing strategic financial insights for senior management.

Location: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote). Must be based in London, Bristol, or Birmingham, UK.

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and report on Cost per Transaction (CPT) targets across various channels and sub-channels.
• Perform variance analysis on channel cost inputs and provide narrative explanations to optimize spend.
• Act as the finance business partner for frontline commissions, managing budgeting, month-end, and flash processes.
• Create high-level PowerPoint presentations and perform deep-dive analyses for channel director reviews.
• Contribute to the monthly Commission board and Group transformation tracking documents.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
• Strong experience in financial analysis and complex financial modelling.
• Proven ability in stakeholder management to coordinate information across multiple teams.
• Must be based in or be able to commute to London, Bristol, or Birmingham.

Nice to have

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data-driven recommendations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate key messages to senior management.
• Ability to quickly identify root causes through logical financial analysis.
