Location: Hybrid (2 days per week WFH), based in Stockport, UK

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum

What you will do

• Prepare and present monthly management accounts and financial statements for four entities.
• Manage monthly journals for accruals and prepayments, providing rationale for accounting judgements.
• Perform full balance sheet reconciliations with supporting documentation.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide detailed commentary.
• Collaborate with business areas on budget setting and forecasting.
• Partner with key stakeholders and participate in statutory external audits.

Requirements

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA or ACA).
• Proven experience in preparing and presenting monthly management accounts.
• Strong proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in Stockport on a hybrid basis.
