What you will do

• Design, prototype, and implement features for HashiCorp products ensuring stability and usability.
• Collaborate with Product Design and Product Management to build and ship medium-sized features.
• Debug and resolve medium-level bugs to maintain product quality.
• Review technical contributions and suggest architectural improvements for efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotations and team planning to support product needs.
• Mentor team members to enhance their problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Hands-on professional experience with Golang.
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles in a cloud environment.
• Must have the ability to work in the US without current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Master's Degree.
• Experience using HashiCorp products such as Terraform, Packer, Waypoint, Nomad, Vault, Boundary, or Consul.
• Prior experience working in cloud platform engineering teams.
