Salary: $100,000 – $145,000

What you will do
- Identify and prospect new federal business opportunities with the government and major defense subcontractors.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with staff and decision-makers within federal organizations.
- Lead the development of winning technical and pricing proposals, coordinating with program and engineering teams.
- Execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Manage the customer onboarding process and track military service budgets and federal funding progress.
- Stay current on industry trends, technology changes, and competitive landscapes.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or capture management within the defense or aerospace industry.
- Proven track record of closing federal business and growing high-value accounts.
- Expertise in proposal writing and independently producing RFP/RFI responses and white papers.
- Deep familiarity with the federal sales cycle and complex procurement processes.
- Ability to speak credibly to engineering specifications and product capabilities in customer settings.
- U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or protected individual status (ITAR compliance).
Nice to have
- Conversant in U.S. military acquisition programs and the federal budgeting process.
- Experience using data and dashboards to track and predict customer behavior.
- Ability to produce documented analysis and info papers for decision makers.
