Operations Engineer (Starlink Growth)

Operations Engineer (Starlink Growth): Developing and optimizing business operations and customer experience for the Starlink satellite constellation with an accent on data-driven decision making and predictive modeling. Location: Bastrop, TX. Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident (green card holder), refugee, or asylee to conform to ITAR regulations.

What you will do

• Lead initiatives to improve Starlink customer experience and products through technical analysis and cross-functional prioritization.
• Identify and resolve engineering and product defects within the Starlink user experience.
• Analyze end-user metrics and KPIs, such as customer lifetime value, to drive global improvements across hardware and services.
• Develop and operationalize predictive models to identify customer retention issues and implement targeted outreach or automation.
• Collaborate with engineering, customer support, finance, and legal departments to ensure data integrity and accurate reporting.
• Design and execute A/B tests to validate engagement and customer retention improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, data science, physics, or another quantitative field.
• 1+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, product management, operations, consulting, or venture capital.
• 1+ years of experience with Python, SQL, or general programming.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (ITAR requirements).
• Availability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and other hirify.global locations.

Nice to have

• Quantitative dual degree in an engineering field and economics or business.
• Proficiency with R, Tableau, Power BI, Power Query, Looker, or advanced Excel modeling.
• Demonstrated success driving tangible impact within a large organization.
• Experience working in ambiguous, dynamic environments with changing requirements.
