What you will do

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to leading operators and investors, integrating AI solutions into their workflows.
• Guide clients in using AI-driven tools to improve development planning, reserves assessment, and production optimization.
• Drive adoption of data platforms by delivering insights that influence high-stakes capital allocation decisions.
• Deliver high-impact training workshops, product deep-dives, and technical enablement sessions.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, data science, and product teams to enhance platform offerings.
• Translate raw data into actionable reservoir insights for unconventional resources.

Requirements

• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Midland, TX.
• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geoscience, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Unconventional Resources as a Reservoir, Production, Completions, or Geoscience professional.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and visualization.
• Proven experience building analytical datasets with time-series production and completion data.
• Hands-on experience with oil & gas software such as Spotfire, ARIES, or ArcGIS.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of big data practices for analytics and workflow automation.
• Exposure to ML frameworks (e.g., Random Forest, Causal Inference) applied to production data.
• Experience with REST APIs and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services.
