24/7 Support Engineer (Infrastructure)

24/7 Support Engineer (Infrastructure): Providing high-level technical support for infrastructure, cloud, and networking across diverse customer environments with an accent on incident management and SLA compliance. Focus on resolving escalated technical issues, diagnosing configuration changes, and maintaining system stability in a 24/7 shift environment.

Location: Hybrid (Must be based in or able to travel to offices in Kent, UK on a weekly basis; must have a driving license and access to a vehicle)

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum

What you will do

• Resolve escalated technical issues across infrastructure, cloud, networking, and applications.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and implement configuration changes across customer environments.
• Manage incidents in alignment with SLAs, KPIs, and industry best practices.
• Communicate clearly with customers to manage expectations and provide updates.
• Maintain accurate ticketing, technical documentation, and knowledge base articles.
• Support projects alongside senior engineers and solutions teams.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years’ experience in a 2nd or 3rd Line Support position.
• Proven experience working within a fast-paced MSP, consultancy, or enterprise environment.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft technologies including Windows, Microsoft 365, Exchange, and Active Directory.
• Experience with virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware, Citrix) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Solid knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, routing & switching).
• Must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle.
