What you will do

• Partner with Logistics and Operations teams to manage budgets, forecasts, and monthly performance reviews.
• Analyze operational costs, KPIs, and variances to identify efficiency gains and cost optimization opportunities.
• Lead financial support for logistics investment projects, from business case development to project controlling.
• Monitor and challenge operational spending to ensure alignment with strategic and budgetary goals.
• Maintain and develop the Logistics Scorecard, translating performance data into meaningful insights.
• Support working capital optimization through stock and payment term evaluations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Business Controlling or as a Financial Analyst, ideally within Operations, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI, PowerQuery, and/or PowerPivot.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data into actionable recommendations.
• Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Cologne, Germany.
