Compliance Analyst, Assurance (Fintech): Leading second-line compliance assurance engagements for a Central Bank of Ireland-regulated entity with an accent on internal control evaluation and risk-based testing. Location: Hybrid (Dublin, Ireland) - In-office expectation of at least 50% of the time monthly (typically 3 days a week).
Salary: €60,000 – €75,000

What you will do
- Lead end-to-end second-line compliance assurance engagements from scoping and planning through to reporting.
- Design and execute risk-based test procedures, including sample-based control testing and process walkthroughs.
- Perform root cause analysis on identified control gaps and develop practical, risk-aligned remediation recommendations.
- Prepare and own engagement deliverables including scope documents, test plans, workpapers, and final assurance reports.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the Central Bank of Ireland's (CBI) regulatory framework and expectations.
- Collaborate with REL business owners, Compliance, Legal, and Risk partners across the global organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Internal Audit, Compliance, or Second Line of Defense Testing within fintech or financial services.
- Direct experience or strong familiarity with the Central Bank of Ireland's (CBI) regulatory framework.
- Proven ability to manage the full testing cycle independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, Microsoft PowerPoint, and flowcharting tools such as Lucidchart or Visio.
- Must be based in or able to work from Dublin, Ireland to meet the hybrid in-office requirement.
Nice to have
- Experience with AML/CFT, Consumer Protection, or PSD2 regulation within an EU or Irish regulatory context.
- Compliance or audit certifications such as CISA, CRCM, CISSP, CISM, or CIPP.
- Experience with data analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, or Alteryx.
