TL;DR

Location: Remote, but must currently reside in the United States and be available for occasional in-person office meetings in Madison, Chicago, San Francisco, Phoenix, Denver, or Salt Lake City. No visa sponsorship or extensions provided.

Salary: $100,000 - $144,000

What you will do

• Lead the architecture and design of a scalable SaaS product using Laravel, Vue.js, and Tailwind CSS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align software delivery with business and customer needs.
• Ensure product performance, security, and sustainability following industry best practices.
• Mentor other engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high codebase quality.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex full-stack issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of software supporting energy efficiency and decarbonization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with PHP and frameworks like Laravel.
• 6+ years of experience with Vue.js or similar JS frameworks.
• Expertise in PHP 8.x, TypeScript, and building single-page applications using the Composition API.
• Strong experience with RESTful API design and state management.
• Proficiency with AWS Cloud infrastructure and serverless environments.
• Must currently reside in the US; no visa sponsorship available.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven track record of developing SaaS-based commercial software products.
• Experience with Data Analytics, Reporting, and Business Intelligence platforms.
• Familiarity with NodeJS.
