IT Analyst Applications (Human Resources)

TL;DR

IT Analyst Applications (HR): Supporting and maintaining a portfolio of HR applications with an accent on technical troubleshooting, system upgrades, and vendor management. Focus on resolving complex application issues, implementing automation (RPA), and integrating AI-enabled HR tools.

Location: Must be based in East Peoria, IL or Irving, TX. This position requires working onsite five days per week.

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day support and maintenance for a portfolio of HR applications, diagnosing root causes and resolving technical problems.
• Act as a primary liaison between HR and IT teams and collaborate with external Application Management Services vendors.
• Manage incident and problem tickets, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication across the HRIT function.
• Perform integrated testing of system components and support system upgrades and migrations.
• Partner with application owners to define project scope, estimate effort and costs, and obtain approvals.
• Support end users through the creation of technical documentation and usability initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience supporting and troubleshooting HR-related applications and managing incident lifecycles.
• Strong ability to perform technical analysis and resolve complex application issues independently.
• Working knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or .NET.
• Must be able to work onsite five days a week.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• Experience with RPA tools like Power Automate, UiPath, or Automation Anywhere.
• Experience building AI agents or AI-enabled HR tools.
• Knowledge of Snowflake architecture and design patterns.
• Understanding of enterprise security processes.
