Salary: $80,000-115,000 USD

What you will do

• Execute innovation, renovation, sustainability, and productivity projects across yogurt, beverage, milk, plant-based, and baby food brands.
• Develop primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging with consumer centricity and quality in focus.
• Propose, develop, and implement packaging options supporting hirify.global's innovation process.
• Research and develop new packaging materials, shapes, and assemblies for the brand portfolio.
• Provide technical guidance to business units and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and co-manufacturers.
• Create and maintain packaging specifications, organize industrial trials, and collaborate on new technical concepts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree minimum (Master's in Packaging, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related ideal)
• 3+ years in packaging engineering (food or beverage industry preferred)
• Experience in packaging formats: paper-based, FFS single serve cups, flexibles, rigid plastic preforms, aluminum cans (advanced in 1-2)
• Knowledge of barriers properties, low acid ESL/aseptic packaging, cold chain distribution
• Statistical tools for problem solving, project management skills, cross-functional leadership
• Ability to travel ~25%
