Salary: $178.5K – $290K + Equity

What you will do

• Design, build, and support robust cloud-based services to scale the business.
• Make and implement critical technology decisions balancing security, privacy, and quality.
• Research and recommend build vs buy solutions for new organizational capabilities.
• Enhance existing systems to improve performance, stability, and security while limiting technical debt.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, product, machine learning, and infrastructure.
• Mentor other engineers and advocate for high coding standards.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building and operating cloud-based distributed systems at scale.
• Proven experience as a lead engineer for major components or a full software platform.
• Proficiency with AI tooling as a core part of the daily development workflow.
• Experience with event pipelines and tools such as Kinesis or Kafka.
• Experience building software for regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST).
• Must be based in the US (SF, NYC, or Pittsburgh) for hybrid work.
