What you will do

• Develop printed wiring board (PWB) designs in collaboration with Program, Electrical, Mechanical, and Component Engineering teams.
• Perform schematic capture, layout design, constraints management, and design rules checks.
• Convert legacy schematic and layout data from PDFs and Gerbers into native Cadence Capture CIS and Allegro design files.
• Create and verify schematic symbols, PCB footprints, and custom padstacks.
• Manage impedance and transmission line modeling, netlisting, and detailed design reporting.
• Handle expedited design requests and manage multiple concurrent projects.

Requirements

• US Citizenship and residency are mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 6+ years.
• Proficiency in Cadence Capture CIS, Allegro, Altium, Xpedition, Gerber, ODB++, CAM350, and AutoCAD.
• Advanced understanding of industry standards including IPC, J-STD, Mil-Spec, ASME, ESD, UL, and RoHS.
• Thorough knowledge of layout circuit design topologies: mixed signal, analog, digital, high speed, RF, and power supplies.

Nice to have

• Ability to identify and apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Experience with SolidWorks, eDrawings, and Windchill.
