What you will do

• Lead tax structuring and planning for buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions.
• Oversee tax due diligence and risk assessments for target entities.
• Advise clients on deal structures, entity selection, purchase price allocation, and post-transaction integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional valuation, audit, and legal teams to deliver seamless transaction support.
• Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor on complex tax matters.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to business development through proposals and presentations.

Requirements

• CPA or EA certification required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in public accounting or consulting, focusing on M&A tax.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Strong knowledge of partnership taxation, corporate reorganizations, and ASC 740.
• Proven track record in driving business growth and strategic partnerships.
• Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
