What you will do

• Oversee the production process from initial copy through to final print and digital output.
• Edit, sub, and proofread copy and layouts to ensure high editorial and design standards.
• Manage production planning, flatplans, and deadlines across multiple titles.
• Write and refine headlines and introductions to improve engagement.
• Collaborate with editorial and design teams to ensure content and layouts align.
• Coordinate freelance resources and ensure all content meets legal and editorial standards.

Requirements

• Strong editorial and sub-editing experience with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High standards of accuracy in grammar, tone, and consistency.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid pattern from the Peterborough office.

Nice to have

• Experience with tools such as Dataplan and Monday.com.
• Knowledge of print production processes and printer coordination.
• Ability to work across both print and digital platforms.
