What you will do

• Lead independent credit analysis and internal rating assessments for reinsurance and insurance counterparties.
• Partner with origination and deal teams to analyze transaction structures and risk profiles.
• Review financial statements, legal documentation, and industry dynamics to determine credit drivers.
• Present formal credit recommendations to Credit Committees to support investment decisions.
• Monitor assigned portfolios through annual reviews and ongoing information flow.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the evolution of internal rating methodologies.

Requirements

• Significant experience in financial and credit analysis within reinsurance or life insurance.
• Strong understanding of credit risk, transaction structures, and counterparty assessment.
• Experience working with internal or external credit rating frameworks and methodologies.
• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and participating in investment committees.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel capability and strong technical analysis skills.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in London.
