What you will do

• Manage purchased material BOMs for OEM inquiries and ensure cost inputs are accurate in the Sales Inquiry System.
• Coordinate RFQ activities with buyers and preferred suppliers to meet project timelines.
• Lead cross-functional program teams to develop robust sourcing plans and achieve cost targets.
• Liaise with Engineering and Program Management to define cost targets and select optimal suppliers.
• Track budget proformas for purchased BOMs and manage supplier milestones.
• Execute VA/VE initiatives to drive cost reduction during pre-launch phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of buying experience, including contract and program execution.
• Strong expertise in sourcing processes and marketplace intelligence including pricing indices and exchange rates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proven project management and leadership skills in a global delivery environment.
• Location: 90% of work requirements are based in Maumee, OH.
