What you will do

• Build high-performance rendering platform for interactive geospatial viewer and real-time vertex editing.
• Define UX interaction model with Design, ensuring pixel-perfect polish in editing behaviors and transitions.
• Optimize latency using partial GPU updates and custom shaders for smooth 60 FPS performance.
• Develop spatial tools like 3D line-of-sight analysis, heatmaps, and AI hardware placement suggestions.
• Own client-side CRDT sync engine (Yjs/Automerge-style) for multi-user, offline-first editing with persistence and conflict resolution.

Requirements

• 5+ years building complex web apps or high-performance graphics engines
• Mastery of JavaScript fundamentals and React (React Query, Zustand, etc.)
• CS degree or equivalent; strong data structures, memory management, linear algebra
• Pixel-perfect attention to detail in visuals, interactions, and performance
• Experience bridging CAD precision with consumer UX, partnering with Design
• Understanding of coordinate conversions, geospatial projections, 3D geometry

Nice to have

• Graphics: Deck.gl, MapLibre, Three.js, WebGL/WebGPU
• Real-time sync: Yjs, Automerge, Operational Transforms
• Low-level web graphics: Canvas API, buffer management, custom shaders
