TL;DR

Senior Frontend Software Engineer (React): Developing user interfaces for the hirify.global for Business product used by millions of corporate travelers with an accent on end-to-end UI ownership, performance optimization, and AI-driven development. Focus on building scalable frontend architectures, reducing technical debt, and creating high-quality user experiences.

Location: Must be based in or be able to commute to the Cambridge, MA office 3 days per week

Salary: $140,000 - 160,000

What you will do

  • Own the end-to-end UI for K4B product features, including testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Make architectural decisions and build prototypes for new user experiences.
  • Drive technical debt reduction, oversee code quality, and pair with other developers.
  • Refactor and optimize existing code for better browser performance.
  • Collaborate with geographically distributed teams to build intuitive travel tools.
  • Leverage modern AI tools and technologies to build excellent user interfaces.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of meaningful work experience building web applications.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, or a similar quantitative field.
  • Deep experience building layouts using CSS and HTML.
  • Advanced understanding of JavaScript and experience with modern UI frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
  • Experience working in Java, C#, or a similar object-oriented language.
  • Required to work from the Cambridge, MA office 3 days per week.

Nice to have

  • Experience leveraging AI tools like Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor to build high-quality software solutions.
