What you will do

• Lead the editorial planning and direction of the daily 11AM weekday show.
• Produce daily content and react to breaking news and live events to inform the audience.
• Manage the host and production team to deliver creative and compelling programming.
• Train editorial producers and production staff on best journalism practices.
• Perform final review and sign-off on vision, content, and daily operations.
• Copy edit scripts and content to ensure quality and drive audience growth.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience leading production on successful programs.
• 3+ years of experience managing teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Editorial experience in fast-paced newsrooms with a story-first journalism approach.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to work onsite in New York, NY.

Nice to have

• Strong familiarity with MS NOW and MS NOW News standards.
• Experience in digital news production.
• Proven ability to work under extreme pressure and meet tight daily deadlines.
