What you will do

  • Lead sourcing and procurement for electrical, electronic, and automation components, including PCBs, wiring harnesses, motors, and sensors.
  • Develop and execute category strategies to optimize cost, lead time, quality, and risk.
  • Collaborate with Engineering on new product introductions (NPI) and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) to ensure supply readiness.
  • Manage supplier relationships, conduct performance reviews, and negotiate long-term supply agreements.
  • Oversee ERP/MRP planning and maintain accurate material master data for inventory visibility.
  • Mentor junior team members and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Several years of procurement or sourcing experience specifically with electrical, electronic, or automation components.
  • Strong technical understanding of electronic assemblies, PCBs, wiring harnesses, and electrical control systems.
  • Proven expertise in supplier management, cost optimization, and risk mitigation.
  • Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems and supply chain analytics.
  • Must be based in or able to work from the Lachine/Montreal area under a hybrid model.

Nice to have

  • Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments or industrial hardware.
  • Familiarity with Lean practices or ISO-regulated environments.
