What you will do

• Design and build tools that enable users to create machine solutions for manufacturing floors.
• Take end-to-end ownership of features, including writing clean code and designing testing strategies.
• Support and mentor team members to elevate engineering standards and frontend craftsmanship.
• Analyze and refactor legacy code to improve the architecture, performance, and maintainability of the MachineBuilder codebase.
• Develop clear APIs and interfaces to support partnerships with Simulation and MachineLogic teams.
• Utilize linear algebra and 3D tools to support real-time model manipulation, snapping, and layering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar frontend development role.
• Enterprise-level proficiency in React and TypeScript.
• Proven track record of applying high-performance practices to existing codebases.
• Strong experience writing automated tests and maintaining high code quality.
• Must be based in or able to work in Montreal, Canada (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Experience working with backend technologies.
• Knowledge of linear algebra.
• Experience with 3D technologies such as Three.js and WebGL.
• Experience with GraphQL and CAD tools.
