What you will do
- Design and build tools that enable users to create machine solutions for manufacturing floors.
- Take end-to-end ownership of features, including writing clean code and designing testing strategies.
- Support and mentor team members to elevate engineering standards and frontend craftsmanship.
- Analyze and refactor legacy code to improve the architecture, performance, and maintainability of the MachineBuilder codebase.
- Develop clear APIs and interfaces to support partnerships with Simulation and MachineLogic teams.
- Utilize linear algebra and 3D tools to support real-time model manipulation, snapping, and layering.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar frontend development role.
- Enterprise-level proficiency in React and TypeScript.
- Proven track record of applying high-performance practices to existing codebases.
- Strong experience writing automated tests and maintaining high code quality.
- Must be based in or able to work in Montreal, Canada (Hybrid).
Nice to have
- Experience working with backend technologies.
- Knowledge of linear algebra.
- Experience with 3D technologies such as Three.js and WebGL.
- Experience with GraphQL and CAD tools.
