What you will do

• Own the design system integrity across Figma and code, including React components, tokens, and patterns.
• Ensure UI quality across the product, focusing on transitions, micro-interactions, responsiveness, accessibility, and edge cases.
• Build tooling, prototyping workflows, component documentation, and processes to accelerate design and engineering collaboration.
• Ship production-ready code for components, UI improvements, and internal tools.
• Partner with product designers on experience strategy and with engineers on UI implementations and standards.

Requirements

• 6+ years building production-ready frontend code in complex, component-driven applications.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript, React, and modern CSS (Tailwind), with strong opinions on component architecture, performance, and maintainability.
• Portfolio demonstrating technical depth and design sensibility; experience building and maintaining production design systems.
• Comfortable in Figma for system-level decisions and keeping libraries in sync with code.
• Technical fluency with AI tools like Claude Code or Cursor in daily workflow; familiarity with MCPs and tool integrations.
• Tinkerer mindset: spot leverage points, prioritize systems over features, high ownership with collaborative approach.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Base UI, Storybook, Figma Code Connect, microfrontend architectures, Vite, and composition APIs.
• Track record of building internal tools or developer experience improvements.
