What you will do

• Research, develop, and design casual and dressy footwear ranges.
• Identify key trends, shapes, and first-to-market styles to ensure commercial viability.
• Create mood and color boards based on social media, catwalk, and street style reports.
• Collaborate with buying teams to react to sales data and drive product development.
• Build relationships with UK, European, and Far East suppliers to advise on construction and materials.
• Coordinate with technical teams on initial fits and problem-solving for the department.

Requirements

• Previous footwear design experience for an aspirational brand or high street retailer.
• Experience working with suppliers in the Far East, Europe, and the UK.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Adobe, CAD, and PLM.
• Ability to execute detailed tech packs and hand sketches for product development.
• Comfortable and experienced in travelling within the UK and internationally for supplier meetings.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
