What you will do

• Procure engine and powertrain components, materials, and specialist services in line with engineering requirements.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost, and delivery expectations are met.
• Collaborate with Engine Design, Build, and Operations teams to understand technical needs and production schedules.
• Raise purchase orders, manage lead times, and monitor overall supplier performance.
• Support cost control, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Respond effectively to changing priorities and short lead-time demands typical of the motorsport industry.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Buyer, Procurement, or Supply Chain role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to negotiate effectively.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, or bills of materials.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and strong MS Office skills.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask under pressure.
