What you will do

• Lead end-to-end negotiations with ODMs, OEMs, white-box suppliers, and Tier-1 vendors for volume discounts and priority capacity.
• Build diversified supplier network and contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Manage senior-level vendor relationships, aligning engineering needs with vendor roadmaps.
• Audit and optimize procurement workflows using data-driven models for cost, availability, and quality.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, and Legal on specifications, compliance, and security standards.

Requirements

• Proven direct sourcing and negotiation with ODMs, OEMs, white-box suppliers, and component manufacturers (memory, CPU, RAM, drives).
• Experience scaling hardware procurement for high-growth tech companies ($1M–$100M+ orders).
• Strong negotiation skills for complex deals under pressure.
• Data-driven analysis of market trends, pricing, and inventory.
• Ownership mindset and excellent communication for executive stakeholders.

Nice to have

• OCP knowledge and ecosystem familiarity.
• Supply-chain security for privacy-focused infrastructure.
• Data center or colocation experience (e.g., Equinix).
• Global logistics, trade compliance across EU, US, APAC.
