Location: Hybrid (London). Must have the right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not usually offered.

What you will do

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the event sales team and contractors to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Own and deliver personal sales targets for the 100% Optical event.
  • Develop and execute proactive new business strategies to drive lead generation and account acquisition.
  • Collaborate with the Event Director to deliver campaign strategies for exhibitor numbers, sponsorship revenue, and yield.
  • Monitor sales plan delivery, budgets, and activity targets, including outbound calls and face-to-face meetings.
  • Mentor team members and set clear objectives to support their professional development.

Requirements

  • Proven B2B sales experience with a strong track record of exceeding targets.
  • Experience managing or leading a sales team and a passion for people development.
  • Ability to manage accounts across the full project cycle and build lasting client relationships.
  • Sharp commercial mindset with the ability to analyze and drive financial numbers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for interacting with senior stakeholders.
  • Right to work in the UK is required as sponsorship is not typically provided.
