What you will do
- Lead, motivate, and manage the event sales team and contractors to foster a high-performance culture.
- Own and deliver personal sales targets for the 100% Optical event.
- Develop and execute proactive new business strategies to drive lead generation and account acquisition.
- Collaborate with the Event Director to deliver campaign strategies for exhibitor numbers, sponsorship revenue, and yield.
- Monitor sales plan delivery, budgets, and activity targets, including outbound calls and face-to-face meetings.
- Mentor team members and set clear objectives to support their professional development.
Requirements
- Proven B2B sales experience with a strong track record of exceeding targets.
- Experience managing or leading a sales team and a passion for people development.
- Ability to manage accounts across the full project cycle and build lasting client relationships.
- Sharp commercial mindset with the ability to analyze and drive financial numbers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for interacting with senior stakeholders.
- Right to work in the UK is required as sponsorship is not typically provided.
