What you will do

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes and manage balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure tax compliance (GST, VAT, PAYE) across multiple jurisdictions and oversee group consolidation.
• Manage global payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and tracking key SaaS metrics like MRR, ARR, CAC, and CLTV.
• Oversee cash flow, treasury, and maintain banking relationships to optimize liquidity.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and automate finance processes to ensure scalability.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Finance and Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ or equivalent) certification.
• 12+ years of experience in finance/accounting with senior-level responsibilities.
• Expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and multi-entity consolidation.
• Proficiency with Xero and experience managing multi-currency environments.
• Strong skills in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business.
• Familiarity with SaaS-specific metrics.
• Prior experience working in a remote, global company.
