Salary: $92,000 - $113,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead and design rigorous research and evaluation projects for public and nonprofit entities.
• Collect, manage, and analyze data using statistical tools to interpret complex findings.
• Translate research results into actionable insights for client reports, technical memos, and presentations.
• Support proposal development by writing technical sections and developing budgets.
• Manage project components, including timelines and client relations.
• Mentor junior staff through regular feedback and training in research best practices.

Requirements

• PhD in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Public Policy, or related field, or a Master's degree with 4+ years of relevant applied research experience.
• Experience in research design, survey sampling, and data analysis for federal or state agencies.
• Proficiency in at least one statistical analysis tool such as R, Stata, or Python.
• Knowledge of small area estimation and statistical modeling.
• Current authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis is required.
• Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B) is not available.
